We are celebrating this week! For the tenth consecutive year, we’ve been named as one of Austin’s Top Workplaces by the Austin American-Statesman and for the sixth year as a Best Place to Work in Charlotte by the Charlotte Business Journal.

People focused

These awards are tremendously meaningful to us, because they are based on employee surveys. We are thrilled that our world-class team continues to share positive feedback about our extraordinary workplace. At Q2, we foster diversity, ideas, culture, change, collaborative work, and the courage to try new things and we pursue an inclusive, open culture, where people feel free to be themselves at work. For us, these awards are reassurance that we are maintaining our unique culture even as we continue to grow rapidly.

Improving our communities

Our culture shows up not only in how we work with employees but also the communities we live in. We believe in giving back to the places we call home. Our communities extend from Austin and Charlotte to around the world and it is our mission to make these places stronger and more diverse. Therefore, we make contributions to organizations that support these goals including Code2College, Black Girls Code, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, International Relief Teams, Lifeworks Austin, Year Up, Friendship Home for Lincoln, HelpAge India, and food banks in many communities. We believe this mindset of community service and volunteerism draws people to Q2 and makes it a special place to work.

Thriving in the face of challenge

2020 has been a challenge for individuals and businesses everywhere. To foster our culture during COVID-19, we work to keep our team engaged, connected, and well by offering virtual mental and physical health activities, stipends for working and living better remotely, and additional common days off. Our volunteerism and community service continue to thrive by using digital solutions that enable our employees to make meaningful contributions of time and money to causes that are relevant to them. We’ll continue to stay focused on prioritizing our employees while hiring and retaining a smart and inclusive workforce and building strong and diverse communities by giving back.
