Every year, Q2 provides financial institutions (FIs) with comprehensive industry updates and networking opportunities during CONNECT, its annual client conference. This year, Q2 shifted CONNECT 20 to a series of events in the digital channel, responding to FIs’ needs of a more flexible schedule, as well as the inclusion of relevant content specific to this unique moment in time.
Q2 wanted to honor the CONNECT 20 award recipients by showing a more in-depth, online spotlight on the incredible accomplishments executed this past year. Winners were recognized for excellence in eight separate categories.
Collaboration – Founders Federal Credit Union
The CONNECT 20 award for Collaboration honors an FI that has collaborated with Q2 to find creative solutions to benefit account holders and the bottom-line.
This year’s Collaboration award recipient, Founders Federal Credit Union, serves more than 221,000 members in more than 30 locations in North Carolina and South Carolina. In collaborating through a concerted effort to increase deposits and deepen member relationships, Founders exhibited the essential behaviors and strategic approach necessary to make the most of its collaboration with Q2.
Strategy and Results
After identifying a goal of increasing member deposits significantly, Q2 worked with Founders to build Home Banking Custom Enrollment Forms leveraging the Q2 Caliper Software Development Kit (SDK). This system enabled more than 3,500 members to redeem Founders credit card points into specific accounts that provide an increased return on interest. This enhancement created an opportunity for Founders to make their payment cards “stickier,” while further establishing the credit union as a constant companion on its members’ financial journey.
Founders’ commitment to serving its members complements Q2’s mission to build stronger communities by strengthening the FIs that serve them.
