The last year has seen financial institutions (FIs) pivot to new ways of working, and the pressures of COVID-19 have driven account holders to the digital channel in huge numbers. The needs of Q2’s FI customers have changed, too. Whether it’s critical information about trusted partners or late-breaking industry knowledge, FIs need vital information – and they need it quickly.

Before COVID-19, CONNECT, Q2’s annual client conference, was a central part of Q2’s culture and a primary means of sharing information. But with the speed of change in digital banking happening faster than ever, it’s increasingly clear that hosting an annual event is no longer an adequate strategy for communicating with customers. With that in mind, we have re-imagined CONNECT, building on its legacy and extending the importance of building and strengthening relationships, and are excited to introduce Connections.

Moving to the digital channel

Connections is a virtual series of events, provided at no cost, that will allow attendees to meet, collaborate, and design the future of digital banking. And while we’ve moved from in-person to virtual formats, just as we have done with CONNECT, the Connections series will provide an avenue to learn, engage, share, and collaborate.

The first session is scheduled for Wednesday, April 28, when CEO and President Matt Flake, Chief Technology Officer Adam Blue, and Chief Strategy Officer Will Furrer will share important updates on the state of Q2’s business. Then on Thursday, April 29, attendees will hear updates on Q2’s 2021 priorities for product, infrastructure, and delivery from Chief Operating Officer John Breeden, Chief Availability Officer Lou Senko, SVP of Service Delivery Bharath Oruganti, and SVP of Product and Engineering Tony Hall.
