Our Values
Q2’s Mission
Q2’s mission to build strong and diverse communities by strengthening their financial institutions influences every aspect of our work. Beyond its importance in our daily operations, this motivating maxim is the cornerstone of our collaborative company culture.

-
7

-
8
Watch the pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves
-
9
The devil (or angel) is in the details

We’re stronger together
We are as passionate about our people as we are about our mission to build strong and diverse communities.
This mission extends to the communities where our team members live, to the financial institutions we serve and to the communities they support. It also provides a model for how Q2 team members work together to support each other and benefit the causes in which they believe. One way we achieve this is through Q2 Spark, our corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, which encourages and rewards our employees for using their time and talents to serve their communities.

Community is our mission
We believe in the power of volunteerism — and our global team members are strengthening communities where they live and work by supporting relevant causes they believe in. Team members can multiply their impact with additional financial contributions made by Q2.
Strengthening communities
Our team members invest resources, time, and passion into causes that matter to them. Q2 employees support dozens of wide-reaching organizations such as Girlstart, whose mission is to increase girls' interest and engagement in STEM through innovative, nationally recognized informal STEM education programs.
Other deserving beneficiaries include The Trevor Project benefiting LGBTQIA+ communities, Breakthrough T1D, and Homes for our Troops, a group building specially adapted custom homes for severely injured post-9/11 veterans.
Global reach
As a global company, Q2’s charitable reach crosses borders, supporting organizations like World Central Kitchen, which provides meals in response to global crises, and Akshaya Patra Foundation, dedicated to tackling childhood hunger and malnutrition in India.
Growing generosity
In 2020, Q2’s internship program adopted a community service component, underscoring our ever-growing commitment to the communities we call home.
The Q2 Philanthropy Fund
Q2 has a long history of providing grants to philanthropic organizations in our global communities. The Q2 Philanthropy Fund builds on this tradition, making these efforts stronger, more powerful, more accessible, and transparent to everyone.
Our grant application process is managed by the Austin Community Foundation (ACF).
Through Q2’s Philanthropy Fund, nonprofit organizations located in areas where Q2 has an office are welcome to apply for a grant. These areas include Austin, TX; Cary, NC; Charlotte, NC; Des Moines, IA; Lincoln, NE; Minneapolis, MN; London, UK; Sydney, Australia; Bangalore, India, and Toronto, Canada.
Support for diverse populations
The importance of diverse communities has never been clearer. By sponsoring events such as the Texas Conference for Women, we prioritize fresh perspectives. We also highlight the importance of inclusion through networking groups and collaboration programs designed to address the needs of building community within Q2. These groups include Black Q2, Gente de Q2, Q2 Pride, Q2 Veterans & Allies, and Q2 Women.
