As of 2023, Q2 has been recognized 13 years in a row as one of Greater Austin’s Top Workplaces by the Austin American-Statesman. In Built In’s 2023 Best Places to Work Awards, Q2 earned a place on the U.S. 100 Best Large Places to Work, Austin’s 100 Best Places to Work, and Atlanta’s 100 Best Places to Work. Commitment to community

Q2 is committed to supporting our diverse workforce and communities. In recent years, we have focused on these efforts by working to achieve gender pay equity, increasing women in leadership to 33%, and launching employee resource groups (ERGs) focused on belonging and inclusion. Q2 has several ERGs, including Black Q2, Gente de Q2, Q2 Pride, Q2 Veterans & Allies, and Q2 Women.

Our reach also extends to the communities we serve. We have found several paths to give back to our communities either directly or through relationships with talented partners who can help us reach new audiences and live up to our values. These programs include:
  • The Trevor Project

    The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQIA+, or lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning young people. Our team members donate their time to the organization and Q2 provides a sizable donation to support its activities.

  • African American Leadership Institute

    African American Leadership Institute (AALI) fosters connections to create long-term action and build equity, opportunity, and a higher quality of life for all of Austin’s citizens. Q2 is one of the first corporate sponsors of AALI, which focuses on increasing civic awareness, advancement opportunities and employee retention for Austin’s Black population.

  • Texas Conference for Women

    Texas Conference for Women honors the importance of diverse communities. By sponsoring events such as the Texas Conference for Women, we prioritize fresh perspectives and help highlight the importance of inclusion networking groups and collaboration programs that address the needs of diverse groups, including the LGBTQIA+ community, people of color and more.

  • Girlstart

    Girlstart’s mission is to empower girls through STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), they are a national women-led organization offering year-round out-of-school STEM programming for girls in grades 4-8 in Texas, California, Massachusetts, and other locations across the country.

  • Homes for Our Troops

    Homes for our Troops builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans to enable them to rebuild their lives.

We achieve this by promoting an inclusive work environment where all Q2ers can do their best work, have a shared sense of belonging, and are treated equitably. Inclusivity is central to how we operate, and we create policies and procedures that support equitable access to resources and opportunities.
