At Q2, giving back is one way we live out our mission to build strong communities by strengthening their financial institutions. Through our people and programs, we create positive impact in the places where we live and work, and in the communities supported by our customers.

Q2 Spark

Launched in 2021, Q2 Spark is our global corporate social responsibility program designed to ignite our people’s passion for philanthropy. Through Q2 Spark, employees choose how and where to make an impact, supporting causes that matter most to them.

In 2024 alone, Q2ers volunteered more than 23,500 hours through Q2 Spark, reflecting our shared commitment to building stronger communities.

Q2 Philanthropy Fund

The Q2 Philanthropy Fund builds on our long-standing tradition of supporting nonprofits worldwide. In partnership with the Austin Community Foundation (ACF) and powered by Q2 Spark, this annual grant program is led by our employees and supports organizations making a real difference in communities where Q2ers live and work, and in those supported by our customers.

Now in its fourth year, the Fund awarded $150,000 in grants in 2025 to nonprofits across the U.S., India, Mexico, and beyond, each selected by Q2 employees for their inspiring impact.

Q2 Stadium and Austin FC

Through our sponsorship of Q2 Stadium and partnership with Austin FC, Austin’s Major League Soccer team, we extend our mission into the local community. Together, we create opportunities to volunteer, raise funds, and strengthen connections through initiatives such as:

  • Three $50,000 grants to Central Texas nonprofits through the annual Q-mmunity Gives program
  • $100,000 Dream Starter Competition supporting entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities
  • The annual Q2 Dodgeball Tournament, benefiting Breakthrough T1D
  • Austin FC matchday experiences for employees, customers, and nonprofit partners

Q2 Dodgeball Tournament benefiting Breakthrough T1D

Since 2017, Q2 has hosted this friendly competition during National Diabetes Awareness Month, bringing together Austin-area companies to raise funds and awareness. In 2024, the event raised more than $115,000 for Breakthrough T1D, helping advance research and support for people living with type 1 diabetes.

Q2 Compassion Fund

Our care for community begins with each other. The Q2 Compassion Fund helps team members facing financial hardship after natural disasters or unforeseen personal challenges. Funded by employee donations and company contributions, it’s one more way Q2ers show up for one another when it matters most.
