Robust integration layer

To integrate our customers' diverse systems, we built a component architecture called the Bridge. It adapts the capabilities of downstream legacy systems and middleware to Q2’s platform, ensuring a consistent UI for account holders.

Separate business logic

The business logic resides in a component called HQ, shaping the user experience for each account holder upon login. By segregating business logic from platform integrations, Q2—and you—gain full control over the account holder experience, including entitlements and structures

One API, any device

We deliver the user experience via a REST API called Ardent. It allows us to communicate with the HQ from any device or application we support. Things like accounts, balances, transactions become common components of the user experience regardless of device.

Features on demand

The right feature for the right account holder on the right device. We leverage the platform's combined power to deliver all of the capabilities across all of the devices we support. Through Feature on Demand, our customers can easily turn on any of our features, workflows, or integrations across all of the touchpoints.

Powerful SDK

Caliper, a Software Development Kit (SDK), enables us, customers, and partners to create incremental functionalities directly integrated into the user experience. Its strength lies in the ability to reuse the extensive functionality, integrations, and capabilities across the platform.

Data and machine learning

The platform combines transactional data from integrations with behavioral insights from the user experience layer, forming a comprehensive view of each account holder's financial activities, needs, and goals. This data fuels data-driven solutions for marketing, fraud, and beyond
